The ambience and greenery of the place is lovely. It's worth staying. The food and rooms are fairly priced and it's hygienic. Even the caretaker - vikas singh and his team are so caring and lovely. Would recommend to stay and experience the same.👍👍👍👍

August 16, 2022Best place to stay in Varanasi. You can chill out in the garden in the evening with camp fire. Well maintained place and friendly staff. Special mention to "Sunil". Everything you need is within 4 km radius. Definitely going back there.

February 14, 2021We had a wonderful time. We arrived very late, we came from Nepal by bus. We made the booking around 8pm via WhatsApp messages with the boss and were warmly welcomed on our arrival at 11pm. We had a small room but it was perfect for us all after a long day of travel. The next day we moved to another much bigger room, which freed in the meantime. Breakfast is amazing !! Try out Fruit muesli. Perfect to start your day. They offer vegan alternatives, their toiletries are also vegan. They are all very nice and helpful, which was appreciated by us and our kids (3&4 yo). It is located near the station, which is quiet convenient but not noisy though. Perfect !

One of Varanasi's oldest hostel.This hostel's architectural style is quite unique. The rooms are kept immaculately clean and sanitary. The beautiful garden in front of the hostel is the main attraction. I've never seen a hostel with a garden like this. You can relax in the garden, which is a relatively quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The location is close to a railway station and is only a short walk away. Sunil, the manager, is a wonderful person who will assist you at all times. Inside the hostel, only vegetarian foods are permitted. Only from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. will the air conditioning be turned on. Hot water is accessible at all times for bathing. There is also a kitchen attached to the hostel.Parking space is available for bikes and one or two cars.Even in the early morning hours, share autos will be available from the vicinity to the Ghats. It was a very good experience staying here . I would recommend ITH to anyone visiting Varanasi

February 4, 2022Friendly and helpful staff. Good atmosphere, backpackers and all. Might get some tips for your next destination. Not a party place. Rather quiet and tranquil. Nice garden to chill (if you don't get biten by mosquitoes). The private room was so nice. Well decorated. Lots of details that made us feel like home. Big and clean bathroom. Water temperature/pressure good. We even got toiletries and all! Recommended by @lifetimetravelmates !

December 14, 2019I spent 5 days here and the services and room is awesome. The location is perfect , near railway station and market but quite calm. The staff Vikas and Rajesh are quite helpful. The food is yummy and like home. I will recommend to stay here if you want to enjoy staying in banaras. Love to stay here again if I will go to banaras.
