Hands down one of the best trips of my life, and The Hosteller gets all the credit. The property was cozy and quaint, the staff was extremely warm and made you feel right at home, and the energy screamed Varanasi through and through. Best part? The fellow travellers I met. I brought back new friends and life long memories with me, all thanks to The Hosteller. Cherry on top of the cake was definitely the hostel Manager, Bikas Singh!

He will be extremely kind and professional with you and will quietly share (if you want) his culture and experience of Varanasi. In short, he will make you feel at home. Amazing space to reside. The manager was very hospitable and polite. He made sure we were at home and provided us with everything. Thank you Mr. Sunil for providing home like stay. Will definitely suggest others the place.

February 9, 2022Friendly and helpful staff. Good atmosphere, backpackers and all. Might get some tips for your next destination. Not a party place. Rather quiet and tranquil. Nice garden to chill (if you don't get biten by mosquitoes). The private room was so nice. Well decorated. Lots of details that made us feel like home. Big and clean bathroom. Water temperature/pressure good. We even got toiletries and all! Recommended by @lifetimetravelmates !

December 14, 2019One of Varanasi's oldest hostel.This hostel's architectural style is quite unique. The rooms are kept immaculately clean and sanitary. The beautiful garden in front of the hostel is the main attraction. I've never seen a hostel with a garden like this. You can relax in the garden, which is a relatively quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The location is close to a railway station and is only a short walk away. Sunil, the manager, is a wonderful person who will assist you at all times. Inside the hostel, only vegetarian foods are permitted. Only from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. will the air conditioning be turned on. Hot water is accessible at all times for bathing. There is also a kitchen attached to the hostel.Parking space is available for bikes and one or two cars.Even in the early morning hours, share autos will be available from the vicinity to the Ghats. It was a very good experience staying here . I would recommend ITH to anyone visiting Varanasi
