Not so much costly. Polite behavior of staff. Good facility depends on your payment. Quick response of staff and management via Google business, WhatsApp etc. Walking distance from Varanasi Junction.

December 1, 2020Friendly and helpful staff. Good atmosphere, backpackers and all. Might get some tips for your next destination. Not a party place. Rather quiet and tranquil. Nice garden to chill (if you don't get biten by mosquitoes). The private room was so nice. Well decorated. Lots of details that made us feel like home. Big and clean bathroom. Water temperature/pressure good. We even got toiletries and all! Recommended by @lifetimetravelmates !

December 14, 2019One of Varanasi's oldest hostel.This hostel's architectural style is quite unique. The rooms are kept immaculately clean and sanitary. The beautiful garden in front of the hostel is the main attraction. I've never seen a hostel with a garden like this. You can relax in the garden, which is a relatively quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The location is close to a railway station and is only a short walk away. Sunil, the manager, is a wonderful person who will assist you at all times. Inside the hostel, only vegetarian foods are permitted. Only from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. will the air conditioning be turned on. Hot water is accessible at all times for bathing. There is also a kitchen attached to the hostel.Parking space is available for bikes and one or two cars.Even in the early morning hours, share autos will be available from the vicinity to the Ghats. It was a very good experience staying here . I would recommend ITH to anyone visiting Varanasi

Why was it excellent? Because it is a home away from home. Such lovely people, the staff, especially Mr. Sunil and Mr. Rajesh. They take care of you as if they are your family. I am going to visit soon again.

March 7, 2021We had a wonderful time. We arrived very late, we came from Nepal by bus. We made the booking around 8pm via WhatsApp messages with the boss and were warmly welcomed on our arrival at 11pm. We had a small room but it was perfect for us all after a long day of travel. The next day we moved to another much bigger room, which freed in the meantime. Breakfast is amazing !! Try out Fruit muesli. Perfect to start your day. They offer vegan alternatives, their toiletries are also vegan. They are all very nice and helpful, which was appreciated by us and our kids (3&4 yo). It is located near the station, which is quiet convenient but not noisy though. Perfect !

January 13, 2020One of the best experiences. Mr. Sunil and Mr. Rajesh very lovely people and available 24*7. They take care of you as if they are your family. You will meet many fellow travellers and share experience which make stay very awesome. Great ambience! 15 min walking distance from Varanasi railway station.
