Reservations not accepted until 31.05.2020
Varanasi went into a lockdown on 23.03. and 24.03.2020 due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Then in the evening of March 24th the Prime Minister of India announced a 21-day nationwide lockdown. Currently the 1.3 billion strong India is largely staying at home.
These are overwhelmingly difficult times for everyone, including us. We are constantly monitoring the fast-changing situation and doing everything we can to abide by the government directives and to keep our staff and guests safe.
Starting Monday, March the 23rd, we will not be accepting any new check-ins for the foreseeable future at both of our properties in Varanasi. The guests who checked-in prior to the lockdown can continue to stay for as long as they need and as long as they do not show any of the symptoms of the COVID-19 disease. All symptomatic guests are required to be reported to the authorities and moved into quarantine.
All ITH guests are eligible for free cancellation and full refund against their reservation affected by the Coronavirus outbreak. Please feel free to get in touch with us on firstname.lastname@example.org if you need any assistance.
We will resume full and regular service as soon as our world is ready for it.
Meanwhile enjoy this video of the people in our Varanasi neighbourhood showing solidarity and respect for the people actively involved in fighting the Coronavirus for us.
